Hot day at the Lake Shore
Temp - 92 (heat index 110)
Hazy
Time: 2 hours (is all I could spend outside)
I decided to walk down to "The Point", it is a large point near Hyde Park, it is a smallish peninsula into Lake Michigan south of the loop in Chicago. I brought the fly rod and threw some poppers hoping to catch some crappies near the docks. I picked up 3 bluegills. Over all good afternoon for a 2 hour walk.

Alaska Fishing Trip
Wow what an amazing fishing trip in Alaska.
We spent 14 hours on the boat fishing. Five hours trolling for Salmon, and Nine Halibut fishing.
I will post some picks when I get home this evening.
Ended up with two halibut in the boat (daily limit) and six salmon (5 pink and 1 silver/choho).
The halibut were 25 lbs and 32 lbs. The pink salmon were ~8 lbs each and the silver was 15 lbs.
Over all great trip.

Welcome to my Blog
My name is Chris Morris, and this is my fishing blog. I grew up fishing on streams, rivers and lakes. I have tossed spinners, poppers, and spent many hours trolling on Lake Superior and Lake Michigan. I have cought almost one of ever species available in Wisconsin. My favortive fish to catch is Salmon on Lake Superior. I want to expand my fishing experience and learn how to better develop my fishing skills.
